Description of Practice
Chair of the UKGHPI run a hypnotherapy practice and teach courses in Hypnosis and NLP throughout the year. I believe that to become adept at hypnosis and NLP you need a lot of practice and so my approach to training is to give trainees as much practice as possible. I learnt my craft with Wilf Proudfoot - the founder of the UKGHE, now UKGHP. As Chair and Director of the UK Guild, I am responsible for the management of the organisation.
I have practiced hypnosis for over 20 years, pioneering its use as a research tool for understanding unconscious thoughts and the hidden feelings that shape people's decision-making. The unconscious mind is also a rich creative repository and hypnosis gets people in touch with this resource. In trance, they discover unexpected solutions and come up with fresh ideas. I speak regularly on the benefits of hypnotic trance for creativity and solution finding.
Hypnosis is as useful for solving business problems as it is for individuals seeking change in their lives.
